The Georgia Guidestones are also known as "American Stonehenge" and features a granite monument that consists of six astronomically aligned slabs inscribed in four ancient languages: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit and Egyptian hieroglyphs.
The origin of the Guidestones has always been a mystery, perhaps leading to the opinion that the place may be haunted. People have reported feeling an eerie presence here.

The site was definitely unique, but the only scary thing about the place was the amount of religious nuts who were protesting the Guidestones when I was there. Too bad the Guidestones are gone. I hope someone pays to put them back up, with better security.

I had heard about the Guidestones for many years. I had seen them featured on several different TV shows as well. There truly is something unique about the entire experience. I never felt scared. It was a weird reality and it made you feel like you weren’t in a small Georgia town.
