By the far most in dept haunt I’ve been to . 6 years strong I’ve been going and it has been above and beyond every single year ! Outdoor based which amplifies the “spook” factor as well as that real deal feel . The actors are amazing and the extra experience is beyond worth it , but not for the ones who complain about being touched or covered in something wet and yucky so don’t be a sore loser for the rest of the weird ones !

Me and my wife and a few of our friends went to lake joy trails of terror, and I tell you what we had a blast.. from the scenes to the actors and the atmosphere it was great. Really had a great time and will be doing it again this weekend.. worth the time and money

From the beginning to end, it’s by far the best haunt around! It’s the most diverse selection of characters and experiences. I saw things I’ve never seen in my worst nightmares but they will now be there in the future. Highly recommend!

This was our first year since mobile g to the area we were able to make it to the trail. My son picked the trail for his birthday. We all had a great time and definitely wasn't expecting how long the trail was. 100% coming back every year now. Our new family tradition for Halloween!

It is all around a great experience, even when you are waiting in line the monsters are interacting with everyone, there is music and lights , food and the actual haunt itself is pretty long so it’s worth every single dime. :)

My first time going was two years ago! I had just gone through a break up and I was like if I’m doing this alone! Plus my homegirl couldn’t make it lol but when I got there, I went through the trail with a group of older teens and/or young adults, and it was pretty dope! Fun time good scare, good thriller definitely recommend! Nothing is wrong with going solo Dolo! Oh i had military discount!!

I first went to this event 2 years ago and loved it! It was my first ever haunted anything event. I attended this year and it grew even bigger! I loved that the set up was totally different, too! It was even more elaborate and the jump scares definitely got me several times. Each room was so well done, too. The only complaint I do have is it wasn’t as well lit as the first time I went. Because there were definitely a few spots that surely needed some light. Other than that, I thought it was great! My group was really happy with the whole experience and will definitely keep returning.

My husband took my daughter and her best friend this past weekend and had a great time. The actors are very interact and even put my husband in a coffin. One of the best things is the music and “monsters” interacting while you wait in line. Definitely a spooky fun time.

Absolutely love this place ! The attention to detail , the outdoor atmosphere as well as the incredible actors ! It doesn’t get any better than lake joy . Be prepared and wear clothing you do not care about as well as your best running shoes haha ! If you’re one of the ones who love a good scare or a spooky experience, pay for the “extra experience “ and you will not regret it , but do be warned !! Lake joy is by far the best , 6 years strong and can’t wait to experience my 7th year !

Trails of Terror is the one of the best haunted attractions in Middle Georgia! They have new ideas every year so it never gets old going. They also started bringing special guests on the weekends and it is awesome to see in our town. Highly recommend visiting here if you want a good scare!

Really enjoy this haunt , me and my 5 kids attend every season for a few years now . It's ever changing each season so you do not get bored . My kids love that you get to meet some of the monster while you wait . I love that it is a long trail you feel like you get your money worth you can tell a lot of hard work has went into each and every detail.

The costumes, decor and music was amazing but the trail that does not touch you is very boring and i feel it can be done better. I hope that the other scare is much more thrilling. The actors were really nice and great people even if they weren’t quiet and couldn’t stay still:)

We attended this Haunt for the first time last year and I must say its the best around town!! If you wanna experience a thrilling, frightening, extremely entertaining bunch of haunt junkies, I recommend visiting this Haunt!!! We are so excited for this season and just bought our tickets. The line may be long, but trust me when I say you won't regret the wait because lots of things happen while waiting in line! You might get the bejesus scared outta ya, but you won't be disappointed!!

The brain is constantly taking in information from our senses. Processing that information isn’t a problem. Dealing with a stream of input is a struggle for kids with sensory processing difficulties. BEWARE there are strobe lights, dark paths (easily touching your way through-), earthly smells & to include flatus from guess or actors, sensory tunnels pushing your way through, sounds of hysteria, and smells of yummy food (bring cash). Actors do not touch you. DO NOT touch them in a state of fright. Lots of fun music and characters. Definitely need to do themed weddings on the property! I am not affiliated with anyone at Lake Joy Trails Of Terror. I just had a pucking great time!

My bff and I went and it was awesomely scary! Lol. She hit her head twice on the van and I got tossed around and hit my knee. If it had better lighting, I’m certain we could’ve enjoyed it more. We know what to expect next time so we’ll have our head gear and padding ready. ????

Best of places to have a haunted trail. You start with a very slow pace and as you proceed through the woods you pace quicken out of fear. The scenes were detailed and you feel the adrenaline rush to run out of the trail each time you face the actors. They were all already to scare the wits out of you. Wonderful experience.

Unique experience. The serenity and tranquility are a big cover up of the eeriness and mystery that is actually in store. It was dark and that made us scary. Props and special effects used at random made us jump out of fear. A lovely and memorable time!!

Full of screams and laughter! The haunted trail is filled with all sorts of actors dressed as monsters and wonderful animatronics. Impressive and scary. You end up feeling frightened and thrilled.

The trail was very well done with many unexpected things. You did not know what to expect. It is definitely a must see! The cost is reasonable and the trail was longer than 30 minutes. Plus the characters worked the crowd. They have food and a DJ. It's really well done for a night out.

One of the best with a different sort of experience. Yes of course it sure was scary. You get to walk through the woods to face your worst fears. You need to be really careful as you walk the uneven path that is filled with leaves roots and mud. So, wear a closed toe old shoes to protect your foot completely. The walk was long enough to exhaust and excite you.

I attended on a slow night with minimum actors, and was still amazed. I plan to attend again on a busier night to see how much better it will get with all the actors.

This was my first time at this haunt and I was astonished at all of the special effects and attention to detail throughout the trail. My experience with low budget haunts like this are generally patchef together and predictable. Lake Joy is a professional experience with friendly and passionate staff ( shout-out to Ms. Robin).

The night I went the "ultimate experience" was unavailable, therefore next time I will spend the money to try that experience.

In middle Georgia this haunt was better than Montrose and the haunt at Georgia Veterans State Park.

Dark and creepy, the best way to get through it is holding hands of your partner. They had a great location and designed well to create fear. The scenes were nightmarish and lasted long in my mind. We raced through the woods trying to escape from the scares which was a failed ordeal. The actors can catch up with you anytime. Go only if you are prepared to be scared.

This place is awesome! They got a DJ playing awesome music while you wait to go in. Once you're in, it's non stop fright and adventure. They leave you wondering where the next scare is coming from. Nothing is predictable. It is well worth the wait to get in. The $5 extra experience is awesome unlike any other haunt. I will def go back here because it is different every year and takes 30 minutes or more to get through the whole thing.

I along with my family visited Trails of Terror. It was a splendid performance by actors. Well executed theme with special effects and mourning of actors did the rest. My kids were screaming and running in the woods. Very friendly staff. Perfect haunted place for a weekend.

A plethora of scary tactics put us in the fear zone from the beginning itself. One of the best outdoor haunted events in Georgia. Amazing actors equipped with right costumes and props to strike the fear at right time. Queues were long but DJ entertained us a lot. Loved the concept of unlevel grounds in the maze. Hats off to actors and organizers.

Awesome place to get a perfect combo of horror and humor. I went with my girlfriend on a Saturday and we too had a horrifying time. Hats-off to all actors as they did fantastically well in scaring both of us. At the end of the trail, we felt enervated due a heck lot of yelling. Can’t wait to see visit again.

We went on a Saturday, and it was a blast! Amazed by the pitch black hallways as it scare us like a hell. Lucky to have the fast pass to cut the queue and get into the real actions. All actors did a fabulous job in frightening us. Very well put together event. Worth spent $$

Very well-organized trail. In-fact, the best I’ve ever experience this year. Got there in a group of four with a general admission ticket and it was an hour waiting in the queue. I went this past weekend and I'm such a horror fanatic that most places are boring to me, but I was very very impressed with the set up the actors and all the experiences I had as I walked through. Damn scary and very intensive trail. Met our expectations and we enjoyed a lot. Great actors and nice management in handling queues. Astonished to see my friends screaming and yelling. A bit longer queue, but it’s worth waiting for this life time haunting experience.

I've been going every year and this place has never let me down on the suspense. Yes their could be some better lighting, different excesses for those who can't enter small places. But being dark is the best part of having the suspense. Friday 13th Jason's scene- feels just like the movies, never know where or what he will do he will popp up anywhere. By far my fav, but every scenes is two thumbs up. One thing that should come back is the room that turns. I've seen elevator movements, trolleys carts, etc but not a room that spins. This place can come up with some amazing things, please bring that back.

Great scare, not a 10min haunted house like the rest, not the same thing every year, It changes every year, we have been 5 years in a roll and every year things are different that is really nice, unlike going to Montrose, Haunted Barn, Nevermore hills. This place is awesome every year things get better. Good prices, great scare what else can you ask for! Worth every penny spent and every minute waiting in line!!

This was a really scary haunt! Creative and very original ideas! My only advice would be to have a way to avoid or warn people that there is a tube ( pipe ) to crawl thru. My husband has a bad knee and it was tough, other than that, wow !!! Fun night and lots of bang for the buck . Also all for charity!!!
