Foley House Inn
Savannah, GA 31401
This home was built in 1896 by a rich Irish immigrant's widow, Honoria Foley. Nearly a century later in 1987, the owners were doing renovations when they found a skeleton tucked behind a wall. It was believed to belonged to a rich boarder who disappeared in the 1800's. Some say that he was killed for his money. Employees at the inn have seen a ghostly man in a top hat wandering around the garden at night and have heard eerie noises and felt unexplained rushes of air. The staff at the inn call the spirit "Wally." The home is featured on many Savannah ghost tours.
