River Street Inn

We stayed two nights and my husband and I felt and heard the same sounds. The first night on the second floor we both kept waking thinking the other had moved and was sitting on the bed. We both realized that the other had not moved but felt each other checking but never said a word. Discussing now we both agree it was like a lump was in the king bed in the middle and then we realized it went away but we aren’t sure really when it disappeared. We also stayed on the fourth floor and heard the same clicking sounds early hours of the morning 3ish and it woke us both up at the same time and we questioned the sound and shortly after it stopped. Such an odd and creepy feeling…..??????

I spent my wedding night here. My husband fell asleep before me and I was drifting off but kept waking up to loud clicking noises near the old fireplace. The clicking noises seemed to move from the fireplace to closer to my side of the bed where someone would stand. I didn’t see anything, just found the clicking noises to be annoying. I prayed to God to command any evil to leave - and the noises stopped and I fell asleep immediately. A little creepy, but not too bad.
